Record Keeping Policy
We maintain confidential, accurate, and up-to-date client records, including personal details, treatment information, and follow-up care. Records are kept securely and only accessible to authorized staff. Client records will be retained for 7 years and securely destroyed after that period.
A test patch will be conducted for treatments involving new products (e.g., skin peels, acne treatments) to identify any allergic reactions. If no reaction occurs within 24-48 hours, treatment can proceed. Clients must give written consent for the test patch. If a reaction occurs, alternative options will be discussed.
Photographs & Social Media Policy
Client photos may be taken for promotional purposes only with explicit consent. No identifying information will be shared without additional consent. Clients can withdraw consent at any time in writing, and photos will no longer be used. All content shared will be professional and respectful.
Photographic ID Policy
Clients must provide valid photographic ID (e.g., passport, driver’s license) to verify age before receiving treatments. If a client is under the age requirement, treatment will be deferred, and any deposit will not be refunded. IDs are used solely for age verification and are securely handled in accordance with privacy laws.
Payment Policy
We accept payment by credit/debit cards, cash, bank transfer, and mobile apps (e.g., Apple Pay). Full payment is required before or immediately after treatment. If payment plans are offered, they must be agreed upon in writing. Late payments may incur additional charges. For refunds, please refer to our Refund Policy.
Failure to Attend, Late Arrivals & Cancellations Policy
Failure to attend or cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the loss of treatment or deposit.
Late arrivals may shorten treatment time, and full payment is still required. If over 15 minutes late, treatment may be rescheduled, and a cancellation fee may apply.
Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice will incur a 50% fee of the treatment cost; cancellations within 24 hours will incur a 100% fee.
Rescheduling must be done at least 48 hours in advance to avoid fees or loss of deposit.
Liability
Clients must acknowledge that treatments may carry certain risks. EffAyy Dermacare does not assume liability for complications arising from treatments unless caused by negligence or improper care.
Data Protection
All client data is handled in compliance with data protection laws. Personal and payment information is stored securely, and your privacy is a priority.
Policy Changes
EffAyy Dermacare reserves the right to update these policies at any time. Clients will be informed of any significant changes that may affect their experience.
Refund Policy
Once a service or procedure is performed, refunds are not issued under any circumstances.
If you are dissatisfied with your treatment, please contact us within 48 hours to discuss your concerns.
The booking/consultation fee is non-refundable.
Deposits are non-refundable but will be applied toward the total cost of any service or product purchased.
Home Care Products:
Due to hygiene and safety regulations, we cannot offer refunds on home care products, even if unopened. All products must be inspected at the time of purchase at our clinic or on the same day for home delivery to identify any issues. If any problems to contact us within 48hrs of delivery with receipt. We do not offer refunds unless there is a defect or problem with the product.
Treatment Risks & Expectations
All treatments at EffAyy Dermacare carry some inherent risks, including but not limited to skin irritation, redness, swelling, bruising, or allergic reactions. While we strive for the best possible results, outcomes may vary depending on individual skin types and health conditions. Results are not guaranteed, and multiple treatments may be required to achieve the desired effect.
By booking a treatment, you acknowledge that you have been informed of the potential risks and realistic expectations of the treatment. Any concerns or questions should be discussed with our team prior to proceeding.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for following all pre- and post-treatment care instructions provided by EffAyy Dermacare. Failure to adhere to these instructions may affect the results of the treatment or lead to complications. It is important to inform us of any medical conditions or changes to your health that may impact your treatment. Clients must also attend follow-up appointments as recommended to ensure the best possible outcome.
Termination of Service
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service to clients who are disruptive, abusive, or non-compliant with policies. Or, if health changes develop during the course of your treatment where treatment is no longer suitable or opposes risk to client.
